Would like to mention the massive task that one of our member's NorthsideDweller has taken on, his plan to have every Celtic Programme scanned and put on to the Wiki is to be commended, as i say its a massive task and if anyone is able to help him out he can be contacted on here and KDS or at the wiki. Programmes are scanned to the highest order as this one shows.

Here is a example of some of the work done so far :notworthy:

Below is a very rare Celtic v Dundee Scottish Cup Final Programme from 1925, its on Ebay at the moment,
the seller say's its in near mint condition and if thats true i think its a good buy at £1550,

wondering if it will sell for more or get a bid :hmmm:

I don't think it is very nice just lifting them off the excellent existing programme site though and passing off the work as your own.

Thanks Tollcross. Very kind words indeed. Much appreciated.

sureitsza - I may be picking you up wrong (and so apologies in advance if i have done) but just to be clear - the work we are doing is independant of any programme site. We have scanned fellow Celtic fans own programmes (from cover to cover) they have in their possession, to a high quality, and loaded those up online so far and thats how we aim to continue. Thanks to some very kind fans allowing us access to their back catalogue content we hope to make some significant inroads over the next few months and get a fair few loaded up. At no time have we pinched other peoples hard work and passed it off as our own. That would be a poor show... I agree with you fully there.

Hail Hail.

I think this was a personal attack on me ND rather than the excellent work you are doing on the wiki

If putting a border round a image is passing off the work as your own then im guilty as charged and i would ask m'lord to take 100's more into consideration before passing sentence.

To be fair i should have mentioned the excellent Joe Gilhooley Website site as the source of the rare programmes above, but, to be honest i thought others would just look at them and not examine the border's and then compare them to the source, glad to see im no the only one that has a thing about border's

Tollcross: I have not personally attacking anyone as I was only given my opinion to what evidence was given on this topic.
I don't know if you remember that a csc tried to pass the wiki off as their own and rightly so the admin got them to drop it.
All I was thinking it would be a lot easier to paste a link to Joe's site on each match page to the relevent programme.

I have contributed to over 1000 pages on the wiki (under another name) so I appriciate the work that is done on it as I do this site.

NorthsideDweller: If you are planning to scan all the pages of every programme you have available then that is a totally different look at programmes.

I was/am a huge contributor to Joe Gilhooley's site hence my interest on this topic.
