Emailed Marie Rowan asking if she could identify everyone in this pic, she asked me to contact Chris at the Visitor Centre as she had seen that pic and was sure it had the names, contacted Chris who found the pic but it had no names, a wee while later he contacted me saying he found a copy of the pic and these were the names that came with it. After studying the pic i decided to put names to them all and hopefully i have got them in the right order. First thing that strikes me is the pic of Michael Cairns (early committee) who we believed was Dr John Conway? also the initials of the Dunbar brothers which came to me as J and I Dunbar which we know is Michael and Tom, Great image as it shows Michael Dolan (goalkeeper) Phil Murray and Michael Dunbar who played in our very first match. it also tells us the name of a trainer we didnt know of.

Question is do we go with Michael Cairns or is it Dr J Conway?

TC really can't go with that being Mick Dunbar. I'd say the Dunbars are the other way round as Mick became a committee man. Phil Murray would be a great find and we have a photo of Phil in later life to compare with.

Michael Dolan would be a stonking find.

I think clarification is needed on exactly where the names have come from - According to records and previous posts, Frank Dolan played in that game but not M Friel

James Boyle wearing a Jacket came from Springburn, had read he was a great player for Celtic yet he only played 9 first team games in 3 years, he was never a committee man but not stripped, Mick Dunbar never became a committee man until years later, i dont know J but my instincts tells me thats Tom Dunbar standing at the back :hmmm:

I agree cause we thought we had a great find a few weeks ago when we identified the guy in this pic as Conway :sherlock:

Took these from the wiki, seen a few sketches of Dr Conway and thought that was the only pic of him, problem is we have'nt seen a image of Michael Cairns to compare.
