In "A-Z of Celts" says Charlie Shaw died of pneumonia in New York.

however, his wikpedia entry says very differently
"Charlie Shaw committed suicide after a long divorce process with his wife Sophie."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charlie_Shaw

Out or respect to him, if the latter is not true then really wish to edit and remove that item out of respect to him.

This is the great Charlie Shaw's CelticWiki page:
http://www.thecelticwiki.com/page/Shaw%2C+Charlie

It's just that bit about his death i want to get sorted out... There have been a couple of his family who have contacted us on the site in past years, but I don't feel right contacting them to ask on such a question... Thought maybe somebody on here might help...

As i say Joe, if he's married to an Anne, it puts into doubt he committed suicide after splitting with his wife 'Sophie

However i would say that id true , then it's a function of a mental health problem, and maybe we should (again if true) not be scared to tell the truth about what would have been an illness (and one that would have not been treated sufficiently in those days)
