Is there a set meeting place for this?

Have never been to St Kentigerns before, is there an obvious main entrance?

I'll likely be heading up on the 54 and jumping off as it turns and then just walk the rest of Balmore Road.

EDIT: Apologies, Tresta Rd / Fara St entrance, excellent, that should be even simpler.

As you go through the main gates McGowan's office is immediately on the RHS just kick about outside there.

A wonderful ceremony today in James McLaughlin's honour :firstkit:  :firstkit:

Many thanks to the McLaughlin family and Terry Dick, Father Balmer, John Fallon, Charlie Gallagher and James Forrest from the current team for attending and making the occasion such a special one. Great work from CGS's own Camillo both behind the scenes and as today's MC.

Hail Hail! Pics to follow

Mr Terry Dick - wit, raconteur, Celtic historian et al! A terrific speech on the early Celtic teams that James was involved with

Bill - Grandson of James McLaughlin - gave a wonderful speech on memories of his grandfather and the men he played with and players from later on in life whom he favoured. Bill also spoke fondly of watching Charlie Gallagher play at his peak.

I think this was with the story of how Bill used to get a penny from his Grandad for waking him up every morning - much to the annoyance of his own father!

Grandads are the best!
