Sadly missed out on this last week on Ebay, ended up going for £65.00

Never seen one like it and now wished I had pushed the boat out for it.

1908 Celtic postcard, I love that image and have a copy of it and always wondered about the original, someone has a fantastic piece there.

Interesting stuff? 1st four items won/worn by a hun :ninja:

Yes not only is some of it interesting but went very cheap, Yogi's medals going for £100 plus and the Tom Campbell book with all them auto's was a steal at that price

This was David's first auction after his long spell with Christie's and he made a balls up holding it at Hampden, also he did'nt advertise it very well otherwise i would have been at it, thats no to say i would have bought them item's as we dont know how much the high bidder was willing to go, Convery actually admitted it was not a good sale for him and wished he had held it at another venue with better advertising.

Needless to say he never held another auction @Hampden

Cool, it's back! They were after £150 for it in November.

steve, been in the company of Pat Woods when he showed all his copies of papers from the Lisbon lions years

(including articles in papers from Russia, Yugoslavia etc)

I think he got them from a library in Paris that has copies of most European papers
