I think if you check the spelling in Maleys book it reads J.Quaskley and not Quaskey the Paul Lunney book gives a team photo with his name being Quiskley i would tend to side with Maley as Paul probably took his info from his book. |

Checked the census and there are no records for anyone with the surname "Quaskley" or "Quiskley" in Britain from 1851-1901) There is a general problem with this, as if they are immigrants, they probably have a variety of ways of spelling their new "anglicised" name Edited by Dianogah, Mar 10 2011, 05:52 PM.

On the 1933 line up in the version of Maley's book I have, just after page 120, he's definitely named as "J.Quaskey, Trainer". I can't find him anywhere else in the book. He's also in two team line-up pictures in Jim Craig's book, "sometime in 1932," and the 1933-34 team picture. Unfortunately Jim's not given him a name-check. |

Ah, found "Quaskley." Maley lists the trainers early in the book and adds the 'l' into his name there. |
