When it occurred to me that I was doing all of this and hadn't checked my own ancestry, I found out that my gran is a Kelly from the Calton. Where's ma shares?? :hmmm:

The "On This Day" video on the Celtic website lists a "T.McErlean" as a ticket outlet for a train to a Hibs Scottish Cup match in 1894. My gut feeling though is that it might be a typo.

Think you're right about that being a typo S - all the others are well known committee men so it is probably our Frank. Looks like the Celtic C'tee owned half the Gallowgate (street?!?) back then.

Chuck will know about the Portglenone connection here - my feeling is there's a Kelly family link, which might also take us to Belfast Celtic and the Grants etc.
