Wow !!!!! We have done it !!!!!! In just over 3 weeks we have managed to raise £1070 for the Gravestone for John H McLaughlin Appeal. This has been even more remarkable given the time of the year and being so close to Christmas. Can I give a huge thank you everyone who has supported the campaign and also those who helped by donating to the appeal. Some wish to remain anonymous and I respect that. All surplus funds will be donated to the Celtic Graves Society. I've already started planning the next stage regarding the memorial and have been contacted by distant relatives of JHM from all over the country. It will be hoped that a Celtic Graves Society event can take place in Glasgow at John's resting place after the New Year to mark the occassion. I would like to invite the Celtic Family Worldwide to attend and obviously those supporters of other clubs who donated. I will keep eveyone updated and finally would like to express my sincere thanks again for all your support. http://www.gofundme.com/9ti00 |
