Two of the Marist Brothers who did so much for the community of the East End in the late 19th Century and the education of its' children. Their shared idea of providing dinner tables in St Mary's and Sacred Heart parishes with the assistance of the SSVP to encourage more children to attend school was truly inspired. And a football team came along some years later to raise funds to help keep the Tables going.

Wonderful to finally see an image of Brother Dorotheus. Many thanks to the family and Dianogah!

In Celtic's first season's accounts (reproduced in Bob Kelly's book) Brother Dorotheus was one of the 2 auditors.

And to think some mad Hibbys still believe that Walfrid was "naive" in his dealings with the other founding fathers
