Robert Thomson is interred at Section F1 - Lair 1135. Posted by weeshamrock June 21st 2010 Bertie has been found! With thanks yet again to that man lubohenrik (CM), proving himself a proper Timdiana Jones for his intrepid raids throughout Renfrewshire, here are the pics we've been hoping for - and it's good news: ![]()

Posted by weeshamrock June 26th![]() Do not adjust your set . . . it's just a poor quality scan. It is a newspaper report confirming that 10,000 supporters turned up at Bertie Thomson's house in Argyle Street to see his coffin being removed before being transported to his grave in Elderslie. Incredible. A clear sign of the tremendous fondness that Celtic fans and many others had for 'Bertie of Celtic'. |

Thanks JBC, I'll leave a message. Bertie has a cracking headstone in good condition on which he's referred to as "Bertie of Celtic". Hopefully the family member knows of this. |
